Description

We are now looking for a proactive Import Logistics Executive with experience of (or the ability to learn) all modes of

transport to enhance our busy team.

Hours: Monday to Friday hrs
Salary: Depending on experience

Import Logistics Executive Job Specification:

Proven successful track record of at least two years working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder.
Experience of CNS and Destin8. Our forwarding software is Multifreight.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills and friendly personality.
Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong and dynamic team player.
Excellent Maths and English skills.

Job responsibilities and tasks:

Communicating our various customers, suppliers, and subcontractors such as shipping lines, hauliers and depots.
Raising internal files
Raising Invoices
Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
Checking vessel arrivals
Arranging collections and deliveries, making sure to meet customer deadlines.
Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out if there is anything else that we could

look after for them.

Pay:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
