London, SW1 (hybrid working)

The Organisation
Blue Cross are one of the UK's leading animal welfare organisations for animals.

We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.

We are now looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As our Marketing Manager, you will communicate the importance of Blue Cross and the amazing, life-changing work we do to external audiences.

Developing and delivering emotionally engaging marketing plans, you'll ensure they are aligned with overall objectives and work towards one integrated plan across the charity.

The campaigns and content will be focused on supporting the communications objectives of our essential services (including rehoming, veterinary, behaviour and pet bereavement support) and Public Affairs teams.

You will also work with external agencies to develop and execute plans, liaise with key stakeholders across the organisation to engage, consult and update them about the plans and evaluate and report on campaigns.


About You
To be considered as a Marketing Manager, you will need:

  • Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and convert
  • Experience working in cross functional teams and with marketing agencies
  • An understanding of brand and its importance
  • The ability to influence and explain marketing concepts
  • An understanding of metrics and ways to measure the impact of activity undertaken
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
Salary grade: 4.2
