Water Saving Technician

Would suit a Handyman or a Plumbers Mate - Full Training provided

Sutton and Redhill areas, Surrey.

Pay - CIS Self Employed -£18 per hour OR £15.25p.h (PAYE) with holiday pay accrued.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5hr working days) Contract length 6- 8 months.

As a Water Saving Advisor you will be providing tenants with information on water saving options, you will need to carry out a water flow test and provide soft touch water products to help the property with household water savings.

Take accurate measurementsfor devices to be able to be fitted. You will receive training and be accompanied in your first week.

You will need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable talking to tenants in their own homes, all training on the flow tests and products willbe provided.

All water flow appointments will have been booked for you in advance by the tenant liaison officers. All appointments will be in proximity of each other each in one area each day.

You will be issued with a handheld PDA computer device to track the installation appointments so experience of using a tablet and mobile device will be needed.

Requirements for the role
:

Confidence/experience using tools.
Must have a valid driving license and access to your own car.
A willingness to learn and improve is essential.
Ability to work at speed precisely
I.T proficient as will be using a handheld PDA
Manage diary and ensure appointments are met.
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving ability
Reliable and good work ethic
Pass a Basic DBS which will be arranged for you by Reed Recruitment free of charge
