  • XX100923The University of Cumbria has extensive experience in delivering high quality paramedic education across the UK. Currently we have over 1500 learners on CPD programmes with formal contracts with 9 out of the 11 English ambulance services, as well as an open access paramedic course at our Lancaster campus. This pedigree in paramedic education has led to the creation of the Centre of Excellence in Paramedic Practice (CEPP), which incorporates undergraduate, apprenticeship and post graduate provision. This role will be based within the Paramedic CPD team.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team developing and leading the delivery of paramedic post graduate CPD across England.

As a
Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Practice, you will be supported by the principal lecturer, programme lead and clinical lecturers.

You will develop positive working relationships with NHS Trusts and other organisations.

You will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice-based education and their specialty, and have a willingness to utilise a range of e-learning technologies and other strategies in order to affect the provision of high-quality learning opportunities and the best possible student experience.
