A unique secondary headship opportunity in rural Devon.


The Governing Body of South Molton Community College (SMCC) is looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and aspirational Principal who has the skills and qualities to inspire, motivate and enthuse.

This post has become vacant as the existing Principal is retiring after 9 years at the school, 5 of these as Principal.

It is an exciting time for our school, as we look to develop partnerships and build on our 'Good' Ofsted (December The Governing Body is exploring more formal partnerships and is keen to understand the benefits that belonging to a broader family of schools will bring to pupils at SMCC.

The new Principal at SMCC will play a pivotal role in developing partnerships and guiding the school forward through a new phase.

SMCC is a popular and successful school committed to caring for our pupils as well as educating them. The school has a high academic record and provides enrichment opportunities in sport, music, drama and many other activities.
