The Role:

  • This Project Support Officer role is a two-year contract. The successful applicant will provide administrative and technical support across the whole team where needed. This will include working with FWM investigation officers, Ordinary Watercourse Consent (OWC) officers and FWM project managers to record flood incidents; liaise with members of the public to pursue solutions to surface water issues and brief senior officers and elected members. The successful applicant will also be involved in the communication of FWM advice and guidance both internally and externally through the sending of letters and leaflets, the FWM website, X and press releases etc.-
  • This is a busy, varied and interesting role within a small hard working team of professionals who are passionate about mitigating the effects of climate change and reducing the risk of flooding across Hampshire.-
