TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging for a variety of global customers and are active in 97 markets globally and we are made up of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Master Data Manager to join our Packaging Services division in a pivotal role, managing the master data across our managed packaging services clients.
You will be accountable for the quality and consistency of all master data held and be responsible for ensuring it is updated and changed in accordance with defined processes, rules and approvals of relevant stakeholders.
You will own the Master data accuracy in accordance with commercial contracts, ensuring it is changed only in accordance with the documented rules and processes and in like with internal governance/compliance.
Some of you day to day responsibilities:
- Owning the end-to-end master data processes.
- Managing an administrative support team.
- Management of all master data in SAP and Mtivity to ensure that any additions or changes are accurate and controlled in line with agreed processes and rules
- Documenting and mapping the agreed components of each master data element and the stakeholder who is accountable for each (in accordance with the RACI)
- Develop, apply, and maintain appropriate system and procedural controls to ensure consistent and accurate data management and associated reporting.
- Manage models (supported by the central Data & Analytics team) to automate the update of product buy and sell prices.
- Liaise with the SAP team to ensure that all changes to master data are made correctly
- Ensure that master data is updated consistently across all platforms, so they all reflect the same information at the same time.
About you
This role would be a great fit for you if you have a background with complex buying and selling relationships and have previous experience Managing Master data, ideally large data sets with extensive product categories and detailed product taxonomies.
SAP experience is critical for this role, having worked with SAP FI, MSD and MM modules specifically and understanding the impact they have and relationships between them.
If you have experience of line management for administration functions that perform the data and pricing changes ensuring accuracy and consistency, this would be ideal.
