Gama Aviation has an exciting new opportunity for an Operations Supervisor within the Ground Operations team.

  • The Operations Supervisor assists the Duty Operations Manager with the delivery of client experience to both internal and external stakeholders, assisting in inspiring the shift to consistently deliver the highest service levels and exceed client expectations. The overall purpose is to deliver safe, efficient, and timely aircraft services to our clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Duty Operations manager in updating clients internally and externally on the status of aircraft serviceability via SBAR and Flight issue documentation.
  • Oversight and management of daytoday workflow of Operations Controllers as agreed by the Duty Operations Manager.
  • Assist the Operations managerial team in ensuring staff are trained to the same standard, and assisting with coaching, developing, and training of staff as required.
  • Providing leadership to the Operations Controllers, escalating any issues to the appropriate management where necessary.
  • Acting as a mentor to Operations Controllers and apprentices.
  • Acting as a role model within the Ground Operations community, correctly following, adhering, and encouraging established processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring that all Operations Controllers provide the service above and beyond which is required by each of their clients, aircraft, and crew.
  • Any other tasks as reasonably requested by management.
  • Covering tasks and duties of the Duty Operations Manager in their absence.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:


/

Essential:


  • Significant level of Ground Operations experience.
  • Sound knowledge of myairops flight, Foreflight and Flight time limitations.
  • Reliable, approachable, and proactive
