Active Directory Migration Lead - PAYE - London

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for a proficient Active Directory Migration Lead to support with a business-critical Active Directory Migration.

The Active Directory Migration Lead will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, and execute complex Active Directory migration projects, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.

Perform detailed assessments of current Active Directory environments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

PAYE opportunity, 6+mths and Hybrid - Mostly remote working, albeit with 1 to 2 monthly meetings in London.

It may be expected that in the first 4 to 6 weeks of engagement, weekly travel to client sites would be required to participate in project workshops and forums.


  • Design, implement, and manage the migration of Active Directory objects
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans related to Active Directory migration.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of Active Directory services.
  • Manage and monitor the migration process
  • Provide postmigration support, including resolving any issues, optimising performance, and ensuring ongoing stability.

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in Active Directory administration, with a focus on migration projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and executing enterpriselevel Active Directory migration projects, particularly those related to divestments.
  • Indepth understanding of Active Directory architecture, including domains, forests, trusts, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • Active Directory migration tools and methodologies, such as ADMT, USMT, or thirdparty solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications, such as MCSE or MCSA helpful
  • Banking/Financial Services sector experience helpful.
