We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team based in Park Royal, London.

_


The Accounts Payable Assistant will provide support to the Finance team to allow the team to deliver key strategic projects.

Working with the Accounts Payable Manager the main responsibilities would lie with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, in addition to working with Credit Control as required.


Your main responsibilities

  • Process invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Manage overhead invoice approvals
  • Accurately code invoices on accounting system
  • Assist with query resolution externally and internally
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assist with setting up new suppliers
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Make daily payments and once weekly payment run on bank.
  • Expense invoice and payments
  • Bank and Credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with monthend closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • The ability to prioritise tasks
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and detail
  • Competent with Microsoft Office products especially Excel
  • Team player with proactive positive attitude
