School Hours : 8.30am -4.00pm

We are looking for experienced Primary and Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants, to support children.

You must have a solid understanding of SEN, mainly Autism and SEMH, as you will be working 1:1 and occasionally taking small groups.

This is a great opportunityfor you to develop your knowledge and skills in a particular area of SEN.

There will be ongoing support for your professional development, and you will join a supportive team in a school in the Newham area.

Primary/Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Specification:

A solid SEN background
Autism and SEN experience
Seeking someone who is creative,proactive, resilient and can get the best out of the pupils
Previous experience working with Primary and Secondary children will be essential
You will be willing to work as part of a team and be flexible, to support the needs of the pupils
Able to travel daily to Newham

An interview with the Head Teacher will be part of the selection process - you will be assessed on the following: relevant Primary and Secondary experience, knowledge of Safeguarding policies, competency and situational based questions in a Primary and Secondarycontext.

If successful at interview, this will then be followed by a trial day working with the children to assess suitability in the post.
