**VACANCY - x5 Tenancy Sustainment Worker

**Location:
- **Birmingham

**Length:
**Temp until March with the chance of extension


Hours:


  • 37.5 hours per full working week Monday to Friday

Pay:

- £15.10 Umbrella


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Interviewing tenants in their home or in the office
  • Carrying out regular welfare checks on a weekly basis
  • Conduct property inspections and completing H&S checks
  • Maintaining high property standards
  • Provide safeguarding management
  • Maximising income for tenants
  • Rent management
  • Reach agreements to reduce rent arrears
  • Facilitating regular support sessions / reviews
  • Completing housing needs plans and regularly reviewing these
  • Carrying our property and health & safety checks on sites you will manage and ensure all records are updated as necessary
  • Complete reports of all interviews carried out with tenants
  • Facilitating viewings and sign ups
  • Completing housing benefit claims (online)
  • Recommend actions in respect of Notices of Seeking Possession, Court action and other legal remedies
  • Issue Notices of Seeking Possession where appropriate
  • Seek agreement with tenants prior to County Court hearings
  • Deal with correspondence, telephone etc. And collection of rent/personal charges and monitor rent accounts with support from admin team

Essential experience/requirements:

  • Previous experience in a related role
  • A full UK drivers' license and access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS
