If so, Empowering Learning are working with a welcoming secondary school in Liverpool that is currently recruiting for several dynamic Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across various departments on a full-time basis, until the end of the academic year.

Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm, Term Time only

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Establish and promote positive relationships with young people and other members of staff/parents, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and setting out learning materials and equipment for planned activities.
  • Managing a classroom, supporting students in their learning through prepared work.
  • Full clear instructions and resources for each lesson provided
  • Maintain a positive climate for learning, a quiet working environment, ensuring good order and helping students to learn independently.

Demonstrate motivation, compassion, and the ability to support the teaching and learning of young people

based at the heart of Liverpool, the setting is a 5-minute walk from local public transport links, including Bus, Tram, and Train.

There is also a free onsite car park for staff, located within expansive grounds, providing accessto modern facilities and state of the art resources.
