We are seeking to appoint
Learning Support Assistant to work in an excellent school based in
Mansfield.

This position includes supporting children with Special Educational Needs; your aim is to remove the barriers to their learning in order for each child to achieve their full potential and develop the skills necessary for life.

This position can commence immediately, or from the
15th April.

The role does include:


  • Supporting the class teacher with daytoday tasks.
  • Providing
    1:1 support to those children with Special Educational Needs
    (SEN).
  • Following the school's rules and implementing the school's ethos and values.
  • Being enthusiastic and promote high expectations for pupils.
  • Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character.
  • Looking after student's
    physical,
    social, and
    emotional welfare.
  • Providing a safe and healthy environment and following safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:


  • Have experience supporting young people with
    SEMH or
    SEN (either in a paid of voluntary role) or experience in a youth support/behaviour mentor position.
  • Be confident with
    behaviour management.
  • Able to deliver clear expectations.
  • Have a DBS on the Update Service (or willing to get one).
  • At least 2x satisfactory references.

£11.72-£14.52 per hour
