Accounts Receivable position working within Transport Industry
- Diverse Talent are proud to be supporting our awardwinning client in their newly renovated offices based in Duncrue, Belfast.
Looking for someone with a passion for finance and the transport industry, could you be the newest member of a tight-knit, supportive team? This is an amazing opportunity for anyone with at least 12 months experience in a similar accounts position, looking for a company that will provide training and development opportunities.

Operating globally, providing a high-level service to their esteemed clients, there is a high importance placed upon the accounts team to work together to provide their clients with the best possible experience.
The Role:
- Taking a proactive role in managing & collecting payments.
- Maintaining and building strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts.
- Maintaining terms and conditions of credit.
- Meet key targets as agreed with management e.g. cash collection, DSO etc.
- Generate invoices and monthly statements.
- Process adhoc invoices & reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Process purchase orders to invoice in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform reconciliation of debtor balances and assist in creating aged debt reports.
- Respond to and resolve internal/external customer enquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile accounts
- Accurate, efficient, and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, Excel and accountancy software
- Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others
- Experience of answering client queries interacting with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
