Receive wages up to £12 - £14 per hour depending on experience.


Key requirements:

Experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant and personal assistant of minimum 6 months

NVQ in Health Care Level 1, 2, 3 or Care Certificate

Excellent interpersonal skills who is friendly, flexible and adaptable in your approach.

The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Ideally you will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care of the elderly role.

You will need to provide an enhanced DBS and be fully vaccinated or have evidence of medical exemption.


The Senior Healthcare Assistant will work under direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse, you will be expected to support the nursing team by undertaking a range of duties, can include but are not limited to maintaining clean equipment following appropriate training, preparing supplies and packs for treatment, undertaking health checks with patients ensuring overall care and safety to the patient.

In order for you to be successful in this position, you will need to have an

Experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant and personal assistant of minimum 6 months

NVQ in Health Care Level 1, 2, 3 or Care Certificate/Administering Medication

Excellent interpersonal skills who is friendly, flexible and adaptable in your approach.

The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of care assistants.
  • Administering Medications
  • EMR system
  • Write care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, like blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Complete patient medication records.
  • Develop and lead activities for service users.
  • Keep families up to date about their relative's progress.
  • Train and mentor new staff.
