EV Blocks - Marketing Executive Job Description

Location:
Hybrid working schedule, required at Peterborough office.

Salary:
up to £30K (DOE).

Hours of Work:9-5pm with occasional requirement to attend events.

Role Summary

EV Blocks is a rapidly growing start-up in the evolving EV industry, supplying various sectors with universal EV charging foundations.

We are on the look out for a Marketing Executive to drive the brand forward and to take us to the next level.

You will be a 360 degree marketeer with experience in various marketing channels, including online and offline touch points. Whilst experience in EV charging and the industry isn't essential, it would be advantageous.

Being self-sufficient and capable of using your own initiative is essential.

You will also have a 'can do' attitude and will have a passion to contribute towards the wider business goals.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Social Media Management_
Create and publish content aligning with the company strategy and industry trends.
Reporting on social media activity, both organic and paid.
Using relevant platforms per audience to raise brand awareness and to generate leads.
Copywriting for content, both short and long form.
Google Advertising_
Manage Google Ads agency and their output.
Reporting on Google Ads activity.
Proactively seeking ways in how we can maximise ROI on ad spend.
Website & SEO_
Manage website agency and their output.
Reporting on SEO and overall performance of website.
Ensuring content is always up to date, including press releases, blog posts, product pages etc.
Creative Print_
Overseeing print marketing material.
If skilled, to design print marketing materials.
Design_
Proficient in Canva to create content for online channels.
Experience in PhotoShop is an advantage, but not essential.
Events_
Researching key events we should exhibit at.
Organising and executing our presence at shows.
Reporting on ROI from the shows.
Ensuring followup procedure from leads generated at shows is robust.
Create the eshots for respective markets.
Managing the marketing databases and seeking ways to increase database.
General Copywriting_
Ensuring the brand tone of voice is consistent across all marketing channels.
Blog post writing, press release writing, social media copy etc.
Global Marketing_
Liaise with international customers and their marketing requirements.
Work together with international clients for joint marketing opportunities.
PR & Media Outreach_
Ensuring that we are connected with the relevant media contacts for press releases and general content.
Identifying pressworthy opportunities.
General Sales Support_
To support the sales function as and when required.
