This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multi skilled team at Wytch Farm, Europe's largest onshore oilfield.

The primary focus of this role will be to assist in providing operational support to the Well Service team, working under the direction of the Well Service Supervisors & Well Intervention Engineers.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-discipline environment are essential, as is self-motivation and the ability to self-direct.

This role is a 7 day on/7day off rotation predominantly covering dayshift however some night shifts may be required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Support to Well Service Supervisor on all well intervention operations
Assist with well kills and rod running/pulling operations
Carry out weekly annulus, wellhead and xmas tree inspection, and complete minor repairs
Assist Slickline Supervisor with slickline operations
Assist Wellhead Technician with WHM
Rig up, Operate & maintain hot oil unit
Rig up, Operate & maintain mobile well test skid
Operate and maintain pressure test pump
Carry out minor repairs to equipment as directed
Act as forklift driver, slinger and banksman for well service operations
Carry out weekly Echometer and Dynamometer surveys
Prepare permits on P2W

Salary range:

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Well service operations experience required (eg slickline, pumping, rod jobs)
Permit to work experience
Lifting & Slinging to level Rigger
Experience of driving a forklift/plant equipment
Mechanical background

Selfmotivated, reliable & punctual
Computer literate for reporting and record keeping
Pro active
Flexible approach to work
Valid UK Driving Licence
