Overview


The Business Resource Management role is located within Whale Island, Whale Island is home to the modern Navy Command Headquarters in Leach Building, plus training sites that prepare personnel for life at sea or deployed operations, such as the Defence Diving School, HMS Bristol and the Phoenix Damage Repair Instructional Unit.


Role Responsibilities
***- Business process management and development in line with MOD policy for all digital requirements, including Cabinet office approval through the Digital Pipeline.

  • Interpret complex digital requirements from across the RN and provide guidance and support in developing their documentation through the approvals processes in line with MOD policy.
  • Coordinate, monitor and support all Navy Digital's requirements, documentation, and information, utilising agile techniques; providing early stakeholder engagement to ensure timelines are met.
  • Support and contribute to weekly Business Resource Management team meetings to ensure accurate focus of effort in line with customer priorities.
  • Maintain and process documents hosted in SharePoint using MS Excel and Word products

Shift Pattern
8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.


Person Specification
To be considered for this role you will have the following:
***- Process management and development

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management
  • Business case writing and development
  • Good knowledge and experience of the MS range of products, particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint
  • Organised, logical
  • Good communications skills
  • Process, understand and maintain information relating to digital requirements

Desirable

  • Existing knowledge of MOD procurement mechanisms
  • Excellent knowledge of Cabinet Office and Financial approval processes
  • Experience in understanding and interpreting complex digital requirements
  • Experience of writing documents to MOD JSP standards
