Brookfield Residential Care Home is looking for a passionate, friendly, bubbly individual to join our activity team.to provide our residents with a variety of entertainment, activities, and stimulation though the day, that enriches their quality of life.
This role will entail planning, preparing, and delivering a range of activities, and helping in the dining room at mealtimes.
This role involves working 18-21 hours per week on a 2-week rota with alternate weekends off.Extra shift will be available to cover holidays.
Applicants will need to be over 18 years of age and a DBS check will be required, which is paid for by the company, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
PERSON SPECIFICATION - ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- A genuine interest in elderly people and their wellbeing.
- You will have had experience working with elderly people and people with Dementia.
- You will have a positive attitude with lots of ideas to share and the ability to enthuse other people to participate.
- You will need to be creative, outgoing, caring and enthusiastic and have a passion for working with older people in a friendly environment.
- You will have strong interpersonal skills, being able to communicate at all levels.
- You will need to be self
- You will be an active team player but also be able to work on own initiative

COVID-19 considerations:
All Employees are expected to wear PPE as per current guidance this is all provided by the home. Regular Covid Testing is carried out by the home all staff are expected to take part in testing.
