Lea Green Centre, Derbyshire's flagship outdoor centre, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and performance driven people manager to join our team.


You will manage a busy team of caretaking and cleaning staff to ensure that the provision of these support services is efficient and effective.

The role involves regular liaison with departments across the council and external organisations.


You will already be an experienced team leader, used to working in a busy environment, with a proven ability to ensure the provision of a caretaking service that meets our high quality standards as well as having experience in undertaking basic repairs and maintenance, and a willingness to use You will also have a passion for customer service excellence and service delivery.


The ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service is vital to the role.

Provisional Interview Date: 17 April 2023
The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.


Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply.

Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
