    Description

    Manual Machinist

    The role of a Manual Machinist involves manufacturing, modifying, and maintaining tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support aerospace production and repair operations.

    • Fundamental requirements include strong manual milling and turning experience as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
    • A high level of accuracy is necessary along with attention to detail allowing for independent work in a workshop/toolroom environment.

    Precision Grinding experience (surface or cylindrical) would be advantageous but not essential. The candidate preferably should have precision engineering industry background.
