What will the apprentice be doing?

• Learn how to operate hand tools, power tools and wood machines
• Become a skilled trades person
• Work within a wood machine workshop processing all timber

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• During your apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job to gain Furniture Manufacturing Standard Level
• You will be required to attend WEBS Training on Day release basis which is once per week, the rest of the time you will be within the work place
• Training will be provided in all areas of Wood Machining to ensure you are capable of processing timber

Competitive. This pay rate is above National Minimum Wage.
