Role Summary:

  • To support the business by providing accurate and timely administration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
  • Collate and distribute mail
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Perform bookkeeping and credit control activities
  • Undertake any other tasks

Knowledge/Experience required:

  • Formal Qualifications are not essential but a good standard of English is required
  • Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment
  • Welldeveloped organisational and administrative skills with the ability to handle a busy, varied workload and to cope with interruptions and changes
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, meet set deadlines and pay meticulous attention to detail completing tasks fully, accurately and on time, prioritising where appropriate
  • Ability to deal with confidential information or situations in an appropriate and sensitive manner
  • Have the ability to be resourceful and able to research, gather and distribute information as necessary
  • Willingness to help and support colleagues, thinking beyond the task being given
General

  • All Staff are required to:
  • Familiarise themselves with the Company Policies and Procedures, held on the citrusHR system, accessible by all staff at anytime from the website.
  • Uphold the Equal Opportunities and Anti-Harassment and Bullying Policies, ensuring effective implementation in all aspects of their work for the Company.
  • Act at all times within the Company Rules, Policies, Procedures, and any other statutory requirements.
  • Be proactive, bring ideas, suggestions and contribute to business improvement.
  • Undertake training as required.
  • Attend staff and team meetings as required.
  • Observe health and safety procedures in the workplace to ensure personal safety and to safeguard the interests and safety of colleagues, customers and visitors.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as appropriate since all staff are expected to work flexibly within their skill level to respond to changing priorities and make sure that customer needs and business objectives are met.

Salary:
£12,191.00-£24,500.00 per year
