REED HR are recruiting for a highly capable HR Advisor to join a growing organisation based in West Sussex.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Support all key HR generalist activities and employee relations issues and the preparation of accompanying correspondence and administration requirements throughout entire HR lifecycle.
  • Managing ad hoc queries on a wide range of employment law and best practice HR issues.
  • Developing and reviewing policies and procedures in conjunction with HR Manager which reflect or develop latest employment legislation and/or internal business needs.
  • Leading and supporting HR Manager with key project work as required.
  • Assisting in the design, rollout and/or delivery (if required) of a range of inhouse or online training and development needs within the business.
  • Manage the Starters and Leavers process (_including but not limited to new starter pack requirements, key documentation, on/off boarding, induction and leaver procedures in line with HR lifecycle_) within the HR team, working alongside the HR Managerto review requirements and/or efficiencies.
  • Provide assistance and manage the administration of the Employee Benefits schemes in conjunction with HR Manager.
  • Provide assistance and lead on key projects with HR & ER policies, documentation and procedures.
  • Work with HR Manager to ensure all current policies and procedures are uptodate at all times and in line with current employment legislation.
  • Maintain uptodate records, such as personnel files, and monitoring the HRS system and related inhouse programmes for absences, holiday requests and sickness.

The Successful applicant will:


  • Have previous experience within a HR and Recruitment generalist role is required.
  • Be experienced in operating at HR Officer/Advisor level within a Resourcing and HR Generalist background and be confident in all HR and Recruitment administration related activities.
  • Be a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent level of attention to detail in all aspects of the HR lifecycle from administration through to more complex HR tasks/duties as required.
  • Be required to comply with Company policies and procedures at all times.
CIPD Qualified would be desirable.
