An exciting opportunity has arisen in our
Primary Training Solutions Division for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer.

As part our small but busy team, reporting to the PTS Training Coordinator you will play an integral role, whilst building your career in social media and digital marketing.

You will be responsible for managing social media campaigns, creating content, and engaging with and expanding our online community.

Full time - Home based (4 days per week), Office based at 722 Prince of Wales Road S9 4EU (1 day per week)


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and post engaging and creative content for social media
  • Creating digital campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Manage social media accounts and campaigns
  • Update the company website
  • Create an online presence using Search Engine Optimisation & Pay Per Click
  • Analyse digital campaigns and report to your line manager
  • Monitor and respond to online community engagement
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute social media strategies
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Budget management for digital marketing and social media
  • Support the PTS team to deliver the wider training programme
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attending and supporting at certain events and conferences where required
  • General administrative duties
  • Outlook Diary management/meeting /events scheduling
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover for other members of the PCS admin team
  • Conducting competitor research and analyses as and when required
  • Working closely with PCS or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures, posts, and adverts


You will be a creative and motivated individual with a passion for social media, you will have excellent writing skills, experience with social media and digital marketing, and a passion for bringing ideas to life.

About Primary Training Solutions

Primary Training Solutions (PTS) is a subsidiary of Primary Care Sheffield (PCS) a not-for-profit company set up and developed by General Practice in Sheffield to provide support in delivering top of its class primary care by improving patient outcomes, taking account of impact on inequalities ~ Developing integrated services through partnership working ~ Ensuring financial sustainability through efficient use of resources and giving our team the tools, training and support they need to deliver our vision.


Primary Training Solutions started delivering training because we couldn't find anyone else who understood the needs or the pressures that local Primary Care was facing.
Primary Training Solutions provides training to sectors where we have first-hand experience of running businesses. With experienced trainers designing our training packages, and our courses have been created specifically for the needs of organisations.


If you do not currently hold a Digital Marketing qualification, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Apprenticeship training programme, delivered online and or via day release.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.


Person Specification

Essential

  • Very good standard of oral and written English and mathematics (level 3 or above)
