Following the promotion of our current Head of Mathematics to a post within the trust we are seeking a passionate and creative Head of Mathematics who work well within a team and who will help us on our journey to provide exceptional educational provision for our pupils and families.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students studying Maths.
  • To provide high quality leadership and management for Maths education within the Academy.
  • To develop effective partnership working with other staff to secure high levels of student progress.
- _Have experience teaching across the key stages. _
- _Be a consistently good/outstanding teacher_
- _Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour_
- _Able to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils _
- _Committed to raising standards for all and share the same drive to constantly learn and improve_
- _Show willingness to lead initiatives and show evidence of impact._
- _Demonstrate a passion to make a difference to others_
- _To be proficient with the use of technology for learning and have a willingness to innovate._
