Description
Atticus is seeking an exceptional experienced SaaS sales professional to join our team.

We're on a mission to bring more truth to the world of business by building tools that empower people working in regulated environments.

We care about having a great workplace culture, designing things of beauty, engineering quality, and solving actual problems for our customers.

Our document review and verification software is used by the world's largest law firms, listed entities, and funds, empowering them to seamlessly fact-check documents before public disclosure.

It is a deeply consequential space—our users' work is central to the function of global markets and the rule of law, with a lot of edge cases and human pain, and it's underserved in tech.

People love the Atticus platform because it reduces stress in high-pressure, high-stakes work, and because it is a delight to use — powerful, intuitive, reliable, and secure.

Atticus
We want Atticus to be the best place you've ever worked

We do this by:

  • Being selective about who we hire and making sure they share our values.
  • Giving people control over how and where they work (100% remote friendly).
  • Investing in our people and providing them with growth opportunities.
  • Clearly articulating our company goals to everyone (the relative importance of any two tasks should be derivable from company goals).
  • Generous compensation (GBP£80,000120,000, dependent on experience and ability) with room for this to grow considerably as the business grows.

Here's our situation:
-
High growth: Our ARR has tripled yearly, with ambitious long-term plans.
-
Quality growth:Over 70% of our customers are inbound or referrals.
-
Genuine scale-up:We're bootstrapped, profitable, and using our resources for growth.
-
Global business:We're expanding in the UK, AU, Asia, and North America.
-
Great workplace: We're remote-friendly and focus on maintaining a strong culture.

The role
You'll be responsible for defining and achieving revenue growth in the UK/EU region.
-
Week to week:Work with the GM UK, CEO, and other leaders to contribute to our growth strategy, set ambitious targets, and report on progress against the plan.
-
Day to day:Execute on the plans you've helped to create. This will involve prospecting, responding to inbound inquiries, giving demos, and guiding our customers through their procurement processes to close deals.

Beyond this, we won't be giving orders. Your primary task will be to create your own todo list and success plan—and then make it happen.

Who you are

  • Experienced (5+ years) in SaaS or tech sales.
  • Closed complex deals with enterprise customers.
  • Ambitious high performer seeking the next challenge.
  • Skilled in prospecting, establishing value, and closing deals.
  • A team player with a systems mindset.

Interested?

  • What do you think most businesses misunderstand about sales?
  • Tell us about your most significant sales win? What made it significant to you?
  • What's something you've learned recently that changed your mind? What convinced you?
P.S.

We tried keeping this brief, but will reward those of you who got this far with an assortment of semi-random facts:

  • We are a Melbourne, Australia based legal technology scaleup founded in 2017 by two developers and a school teacher turned lawyer.
  • We have a dogfriendly Shoreditch office that you can work from if you're in London, and fly remote people to visit once a quarter.
  • We have team members in London, Southampton, Toronto, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane.
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for either parent.
  • We care about output over hours. High performance looks like working together competently and efficiently, and having enough time and energy left over to enjoy the rest of life.
  • Everyone gets 5 weeks off a year, as well as birthday leave.
  • On starting, you'll get a new Macbook and £1000 to build your own great workfromhome setup.
  • We have a generous professional development program, so generous that the details are sensitive.
  • Read more about our values and working with us on our careers page.
