Heyland Recruitment are pleased to be working exclusively with this global market leader within a specialist manufacturing sector as they look to recruit an experience Accounting Manager for an interim period of 7 + months.

Due to a recent and ongoing ERPimplementation this position is required to provide strong accounting support to the Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for a variety of management accounting tasks across the shared-service finance function, specifically ensuring balance sheetintegrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Treasury functions
Ensure adequate internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and provide accurate financial records on both corporate and local requirements
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of supporting schedules, consolidating both ERP Systems
Tax and other HMRCrelated matters (P11D, PSA, CT compliance, R&D tax credits)
Payroll journal preparation
VAT compliance
Completion of Office for National Statistics (ONS) data requests
Liaison with external Auditors and preparation of quarterly audits and annual statutory accounts
Liaison with internal Auditors annually
Ad hoc projects, as required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

ACCA / CIMA qualified
Experience in an accounts function within a manufacturing environment preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Accomplished written and oral communication skills
Must have strong organisational and time management skills
Experience of working with a broad range of people throughout all levels of an organisation
Must maintain high ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct
Must be comfortable working as a team member
Must have a high level of customer focus and self determination
