We're looking for charismatic Residential Support Workers to join our brand new refurbished 3 bed EBD Children's Home in Birmingham, Stirchley who are looking for the next step in their career.

As a Bank Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Safeguarding children and young people and ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
Creating positive relationships with children, giving them unconditional dignity and respect
Providing physical, emotional, behavioral and cultural support to children
To be sensitive to the needs of individual young people, taking account of race, language, religion, sexuality and culture
Undertake direct work/key work sessions with children
Contribute to the normal development of young people through the provision of a healthy lifestyle, a variety of appropriate activities and a consistent caring adult role model
Assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc.)
Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping, and complete administrative duties as designated by the Registered manager and/or senior support staff
Adhere to care plans and assessments agreed with the Manager in their support of the young person.
