JOB TITLE - Finance Internship - 12 Month FTC


DEPARTMENT - EMEA Finance


LOCATION - Fareham, Hybrid Working


WORKING HOURS - Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team as a Finance Intern for a leading global manufacturer of contact lenses _


Essential functions & responsibilities:


In this role you will provide support to the Shared Service Centre, and you will get involved in projects and communicate with people from all areas of the business to help improve processes.

You will be rotating around different finance teams to give you a full understanding of different areas within finance. Rotations may include Finance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Internal Controls.

  • Support the Finance team across a range of tasks, including month end reporting.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable team with various tasks.
  • Assist with SOX Compliance, including responding to Internal Audit requests and performing tasks to support compliance with the global Internal Control framework and policies. Work flexibly to provide support across the Finance team where required.

What skills and experience should you have?

  • Confident communicator
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages including Excel
  • Good data handling skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with multiple deadlines Proactive approach

Education:


Studying for Finance / Economics / Accounting or a Business-related degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
