You will work directly with our clients and have a direct input/lead into support planning, and risk management.
To ensure the highest level of staff development, you will work alongside the staff team in the individuals' houses on a daily basis.
What does the role involve?As the Autism Lead, you will manage your own case load, ensuring service users needs are being met to the highest standard and that people are able to lead fulfilling lives with freedom, choice and safety.
You will also spend time working alongside clients so you understand their needs and make sure they are being met.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating the service for clients (including keeping care plans up to date)
- Helping clients achieve outcomes
- Ensuring clients are happy and content with the service
- Responsible for promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of service users
- Providing leadership to frontline care staff
- Inducting and assessing new staff members to ensure they're compatible and have the skills and knowledge to work with your clients
- Ability to adapt and address situations quickly
- Firstly, we are looking for a customerfocused person who has a commitment to quality of care while achieving business objectives
- You will be able to plan, implement and assess ideas to improve the lives of our service users
- Previous experience in the care sector is preferred.
