About the division:


The Oracle Implementation Programme is a key transformational people programme that will involve new global processes, utilising Oracle fusion technology and key enablers across the business e.g.

core HR, reporting insights, managing talent, performance and rewards.

The programme will also deliver key outcomes targeting towards improve the employee experience, reduce manual work, streamline processes and ways of working via a global design, address disparate systems, ensure automation through integration and minimise risks across the business in current practices.


About the Role:


Reporting into the Programme Manager, the Test/QA Lead will oversee the overall programme test strategy formation, approach, and execution, guiding the teams to ensure high quality deliverables are met.

This is achieved by being responsible for leading THG testing for components, integrations and data migration, ensuring the business requirements are satisfied and the holistic solution is functioning as expected to meet the business objectives and is ready for operational acceptance.


The Test Lead will also hold a key role in supporting and validating quality across the wider programme in collaboration with our partner, KPMG.

In addition, this role will support go live and hypercare and continue to manage issues or defects that arise post go live and provide knowledge transfer to ongoing business as usual teams as the programmes comes to closure.


You will be hands on and work closely with leads across the programme and help to ensure high quality features and products are delivered through the programme lifecycle, ensuring test coverage is to the right quality levels and all test phases are delivered on time.

This role therefore requires skills and experience in Test Management across all phases (from Unit Test Validation to Operational Acceptance Testing), HR systems, processes and technical integrations between HR/Payroll and T&A systems.


You will be responsible for building an approach to testing and quality for THG to support people processes and technologies, that will be critical to the business teams owning that approach for the future and to support future change and opportunities.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Define the overall test strategy and plan across System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, NFT and OAT
  • Ensure alignment of test plan and strategy with stakeholders and programme teams, manging resource profiles to achieve the test objectives against programme timelines
  • Be responsible for identifying key risks and working with and leading multiple teams to manage any risks and issues
  • Analyse programme requirements and work with key stakeholders to ensure test coverage satisfies both happy path and edge case scenarios.
  • Champion quality and test mindset across HR landscape and identify testing needs for integration, functional testing, nonfunctional testing, defect tracking and management
  • Develop test scenarios against programme requirements and with programme leads to ensure necessary coverage of testing against the solution
  • Lead and guide THG business users for user acceptance testing
  • Provide quality / test evidence and completion reports
  • Manage the defect management and resolution process with internal
