    Qualified Electrician/Approved Electrician Position

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team on a permanent basis, covering the areas around Dereham, Thetford, or Bury St Edmunds.

    About the Role

    • Carry out domestic maintenance works on properties, including reactive repairs and void operations.
    • Work closely with colleagues to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain high-quality standards.
    • Maintain a company van and fuel card for business use.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

    Perform electrical installations, modifications, and repairs to existing systems, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

    Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

    Stay up-to-date with relevant industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops as required.

    Requirements

    • Hold a recognized qualification in electrical work (e.g., City & Guilds 2365).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a housing association or property maintenance context.
    • Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
