We are looking for someone ambitious and organised to join our growing Accounts team. The role will be fast paced and we need someone with excellent orginsational skills. Numeracy skills and accuracy are required for this role. A confident telephone manner is also essential.

We need someone who is able to work from our Spalding office and occasional travel to Wakefield (especially in the first few months).

We are looking for someone who has experience in the following, although full training will be provided:

• Knowledge of Purchase Ledger
• Setting up new suppliers when needed, processing of Purchase Leger invoices and allocating supplier payments.
• Reconciling Supplier Statements.
• Aged Creditor's reconciliation.
• Processing employee expenses

• Sales Ledger

• Raising sales invoices and credit notes and allocating receipts from customer payments received.
• Assisting in resolving accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
• Adhoc accounting requirements to support the team.
• Liaising with third party providers, customers, and suppliers.
• Basic administration tasks.
• Inter-Company Reconciliation's.

Essential requirements and skills for this role

• Work experience as an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Clerk is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• High level of accuracy.
• Organisational Skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• MS Excel Intermediate or higher skills.
• Good maths skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
• A positive cando attitude and is a fast learner.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
