Petrofac have a requirement for a Logistics Contractor to be based onshore in our Aberdeen office.

The project is for a Dutch Client and based in the Dutch sector of the North Sea, operations are planned to commence in Q4 2024.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

Recent UK North Sea with jack-up experience essential.

Southern North Sea experience preferable.


Contract start date:

ASAP

Duration:
Estimated months.

Must have right to work in UK.


Scope of Services:

_Responsible performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken


_:

_Responsible for ensuring all materials and logistics activities comply with Company, Client, and Legislative requirements, this includes marine & aviation cargo related activities, such as the Company Waste Management Plan, IMDG/IATA regulations, local waste regulation requirements, in-country Customs regulations and COSHH regulations


_:

_Key member of Emergency Response Team, ensuring that required level of support is provided for any emergency situations that may occur during the course of the project's operations


_:

_Responsible for ensuring medium term and near-term daily planning is being provided in relation to materials and logistics support for the operation


_:

-
_Ensure suitable materials and logistics records are maintained to support cost control of the project


_:

-
_Where appropriate, provide support to the Client to assist them with Customs reporting in relation to issues associated with materials shipments made throughout the project


_:

_Ensure Purchase Requisitions are generated to cover material and logistics requirements relating to the project


_:

-
_Provide technical approval of invoices relating to the project. _

_Responsible for ensuring the most cost-effective logistics and materials control services are used on the behalf of the Company and Client and where areas of improvement are identified, seek out a solution._

Deliverables:

_Provide support and guidance on any EHS issues associated with materials and logistics requirements to prevent a negative impact on the environment or the safety of personnel & equipment

_Focal point for any materials and logistics requirements necessary relating to the project


_:

_Provide support and guidance on air logistics requirements related to the project


_:

_Provide support and guidance on marine logistics requirements related to the project


_:

_Provide support and guidance on materials control requirements

_Provide guidance and manage any materials and logistics planning issues relating to the project

_Oversee and support daily operational logistics requirements


_:

_Ensure legislative compliance of the offshore generated waste stream

_Create project in MODS tracker and manage on / off-hires of equipment


_:

_Support the generation of cost estimates, AFE's and cost tracking during the course of the project

_Attend operational and planning meetings where support of Materials and Logistics discipline is required


_:

_Focal point for any external parties, such as Client or 3__rd_
_ party service providers, that may seek guidance on issues relating to their interface with Company's existing materials and logistics processes

_Participate in the inputting and tracking of all project actions and key legislation in Turus


_:

_Participate in the inputting and close out of all lessons in Turus

_Participate risk reviews and support the documentation as required by the project utilising Turus
