Our client is a multi-award winning manufacturing company, supplying interesting product to several key market sectors worldwide, based in LS12.

They are currently seeking a tenacious, methodical Credit Controller to join the team.

Credit Controller

Full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday.


The Role:

  • Responsible for raising and processing all invoices
  • Communicate and liaise, verbally and in writing between customers and relevant staff members
- set credit limits for the customers ensuring credit limits are strictly adhered to

  • Liaise with the external sales force when considering extending or increasing credit limit
  • Resolve all queries as efficiently and quickly as possible
  • Raise credit note where necessary and have this counter signed by a designated director.
  • As and when require raise commercial invoices/other export documentation for any exports outside of the UK on behalf of the dispatch team
  • To respond professionally and efficiently to any contact with internal/external customers
  • Ensure customer accounts are kept up to date, confirming payment amounts due before payment date as frequently as possible.
  • Produce statements in a timely manner and send to customer

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate
  • Professional and personable telephone manner
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the need for confidentiality
