We are now looking for two Administrative Officers to join us on a 24 month fixed term basis;

  • 1 x 1.0 FTE
  • 1 x 0.8 FTE
  • THE ROLE
  • You will support senior colleagues within the International Registry in the processing of international applicants for admission to University programmes and the maintenance of files associated with the issuing of CAS for student visas. You will undertake appropriate data entry onto the University records system in a timely manner, and will support the conversion of applicants through to enrolment as students. The role will also include the maintenance of active student records for UKVI compliance purposes.

  • ABOUT YOU
  • To be considered as an Administrative Officer, you will need:
  • Good level of general education
  • Educated to HND or degree level or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in providing high quality administrative support in a Higher Education setting
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and through all media
  • Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience of working with committees
  • A good proficiency in the use of Microsoft, SITS and other software packages.

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh oral and written
