This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Client Manager to join a thriving, regional accountancy firm in Ilford, just 10 minutes from Stratford in East London.

This is a pivotal role in the practice acting as a conduit between the Partners and wider staff,managing staff, client portfolios and workflows.

You'll have a Client Manager working beneath you, so you will be well supported to offer a high-level approach to managing the direction of the department.

What are we looking for? You will be ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or qualified by experience.

You'll also have experience working in accountancy practice at management level, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellence.

You will need to be a skilled leader and bring out the best in people, managing teams and supporting them with their learning and personal development.

You will be adept at problem solving, managing complaints, and nurturing new strategic opportunities forthis firm to grow.

Job Purpose

Responsible for high level leadership and managing staff, as well as career and personal development and overseeing the allocation and flow of work within the department.
Oversee a varied client portfolio in a wide range of industries including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and High Net Worth Individuals.
The strategic development and direction of the department.
Change management.
Provide ambitious standards of excellent customer service to clients by answering queries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Work on any ad hoc projects as necessary.
Contribute to the firm's growth by helping to build good relationships with both prospective clients and existing clients.
Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
Support the Partners as required.
