About the role and DigiTech


The School of Technology, Business and Arts (TBA) is looking to appoint a Front of Desk Administrator at the DigiTech Centre based at Adastral Park, Martlesham.


The DigiTech Centre (which comes under the School of TBA) provides cutting-edge digital skills for people looking to pursue careers in information and communications technology.

Specialist high tech laboratories are at the heart of DigiTech, and are being used jointly by University staff, students and businesses at Adastral Park and across the region.

DigiTech is now the principal home for undergraduate, apprenticeship and postgraduate computing provision at the University of Suffolk.


About You
The post holder will be Front of House at the DigiTech Centre, with reception, operational and administrative duties. The post holder will be friendly, approachable, confident and organised, with excellent communication skills.

Additionally, the post-holder will provide an efficient administrative service for the School of Technology, Business and Arts, the DigiTech Centre and its colleagues, which supports the work of the School Manager and lecturers at the DigiTech Centre.

The post holder will work closely with the School Manager, Lecturers and Professional Assistant, to provide a seamless service and be a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries for the School and the DigiTech Centre.
