What you will be doing

Location - Coatbridge ML- Hours of Work: Monday - Friday hrs

Salary after probationary £12.68 per hour, increasing to £16.86 per hour for hours worked after 10pm

To drive, motivate and be the first point of contact for Team Members in the achievement of daily operational targets, set by the Management Team, with a focus on guiding and developing staff in your team.

We are looking for a strong leader to be part of our team.

Our service centre's play a pivotal role in the success of our business and are responsible for ensuring that we deliver potentially life saving medicines to an extensive network of local customers on a twice daily basis.

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for directing a team of operatives to meet targets. You will need to ensure that agreed productivity rates are achieved. You will need to monitor staff performance and train your team to the highest standard. Whilst ensuring that damages are kept below the agreed levels (always aiming for no damaged stock).

You will have the ability to engage and deliver motivation and form positive conditions amongst staff. You will have excellent own time management with key focus being on staff management. You will gain the knowledge of department dependant systems with confidence to learn others. You will have the ability to use initiative and prioritise within per determined boundaries.

You should be flexible to suit the needs of the business and approach all new tasks with a positive attitude.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution processes.
