Responsibilities
- To provide project management leadership and ensuring the safe delivery of the project to time, cost and quality with responsibility for leading the project to a successful conclusion
- Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organisation
- Initiate the project, check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resource
- Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of the project, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, producing schedules and timelines for tasks.
- Use project management tools to create a business and visual project plan
- Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
- Manage the project, which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget
- Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery of the project is on time
- Implement any necessary changes throughout the process
- Report regularly to management and all stakeholders
Required:
- 4 years+ of Project Management experience
- Have a Track record in successfully delivering quality projects on time, budget and to conclusion
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience within the Media and Business sectors
- Experience of leading mediabased projects focusing on the SME market (an advantage)
- Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams, from sales, researchers, sponsors, partners, eventmanagement
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- A skilled negotiator with advanced communication skills
- Project management tools & techniques (e.g. PRINCE2)
