A team leader with a background in support services for young people is required for Hunters' caring client committed to supporting vulnerable people.

As a Team Leader, you will be supporting the management and development of the delivery of a quality specialisthousing and support service to young people and vulnerable adults, meeting customer, organisational and contractual needs and obligations.

37.5 hours Usually Monday to Friday with evening and weekend work as required.

Support Services Team Leader duties include:

Managing two 24-hour supported accommodation services in Worthing for Young People aged 16-18 years old. You will be expected to have a positive approach and to lead and direct the teams to get the best results for the young people in our services
Support the management of a quality service that responds to and is relevant to customer, contractual and organisational needs through ongoing planning, monitoring, evaluating and effective service delivery
Organise and participate in staffing rotas and on call arrangements
Encourage and promote effective multiagency working to ensure that the risks of services users are mitigated and that the needs and aspirations of service users are met to a high standard, including establishing close contacts with various communities,statutory and voluntary organisations.

Support Services Team Leader requirements:

Experience working with clients from a variety of support needs such as substance use, learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, rough sleeping, criminal justice contact and selfcare issues
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to generate and build effective relationships with colleagues, residents and stakeholders
Good understanding of the issues involved in delivering effective support services to a range of vulnerable people
