Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take their next step in a challenging environment.

As the Senior FinancialAnalyst you will report into the Head of Finance Supply and support a site which develops critical components of variety of life saving medicines.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Financial Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • You will be responsible for effective reporting of account reconciliation's into the blackline reconciliation system on time. You will also deal with inventory reconciliation's involving 3rd parties into the blackline and SOX control systems.
  • You will be responsible for analysing financial performance against forecast, addressing and identifying risks and upsides for the site, along with delivering on month-end and close activity.
  • As the Senior Financial Analyst you will be able to analyse and track overhead spend, capital expenditure of plant spend and present on a monthly basis.
  • You will be responsible for navigating a SAP system as well as utilising Microsoft Excel for analysis including spreadsheet development, V-look up and pivots.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant degree in a Accounting or Finance, CIMA Certification preferred.
  • At least five years of experience working in either Accounting or Finance, proven experience with month end and product costing.
  • You will be a super user with SAP and have advanced Excel skills.
