MDS Battery are an on-line retailer and distributor of industrial, commercial and automotive batteries based in Brimsdown.

We currently have a vacancy for a member of our warehouse staff.

Main duties include:
Assembling and packing battery kits
Preparing cable sets
Picking and packing orders for despatch
Preparing pallets for despatch
General warehouse duties as required

We assemble and pack industrial battery kits and cable sets to order for our business and commercial customers.

This process is all clearly documented so you'll need a precise organised approach and be prepared to learn new skills.

Our despatch can be anything from envelopes and small packages to large pallets.

We operate a fully computerised despatch system - accuracy in your work is crucial to the smooth running of the system.

Many of our products are heavy so you will need to be able to handle heavy cartons up to 25Kg and move pallets around the warehouse.

Any relevant experience would be an advantage but training will be given. Common sense and the ability to think on your feet are just as important for the job.

Equally fork lift truck driving would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a full time permanent position, Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 5.00PM with 28 days annual paid holiday including bank holidays.

Starting salary is £24,000 per year - 35 hour working week - equates to just over £13.00 per hour. Salary review after three months upon completion of probationary period.
