Job Summary:


We are in search of a highly motivated Procurement Apprentice with a keen interest in developing themselves in the professional landscape.

As an aspiring professional, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within various procurement categories, including but not limited to:


  • Energy/Renewable Energy
  • Electric Vehicle Charging
  • Corporate Services
  • IT/Digital and AI
  • Hardware
  • Assets
  • Labour
  • Fleet

As an apprentice you will support predominantly on:

  • Ordering
  • Administration Tasks
  • Procurement RFQ's

As we develop your skills your responsibilities will extend to supporting on:

Process Streamlining:

Assist in the development and implementation of efficient procurement processes to enhance operational productivity, minimize lead times, and contribute to overall business efficiency.


Cost Optimization:

Assisting with identification cost-saving opportunities, engage in negotiations with suppliers, and execute strategies to optimize procurement expenditure while maintaining high-quality standards and ethical sourcing practices.


Sustainability Initiatives:

Assist with playing a pivotal role in integrating sustainability into procurement practices by sourcing products that contribute to environmental impact reduction.

Collaborate with suppliers to align with corporate sustainability goals.


Vendor Relationship Management:

Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with specialized suppliers, fostering collaborations and ensuring adherence to industry standards and performance metrics.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize data analytics tools to assess procurement performance within the EV Charging market, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and process optimization.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, aligning OPEX procurement strategies with specific business needs and growth objectives.


Support Head of Procurement:
Assist in developing Procurement department processes, category strategy, and operational support work.


Financial Collaboration:
Support financial cross-collaboration through reporting and analysis.


Forecasting and Inventory Management:
Assist in forecasting, ordering, and improving stock management and warehousing solutions.


Qualifications:

  • A-Levels & GCSEs (mandatory)
  • Degree qualification (mandatory)
  • CIPS certification (not essential)
