About the role
This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your fundraising skills at the UK's leading cancer support charity.

As a Trusts and Foundations Officer, you will play a key role in the delivery of an ambitious strategy for income growth by securing high-value donations from trusts and foundations.

You will develop warm long-term relationships with donors, and engage new supporters, to solicit five-figure donations by working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity.

You will also provide high-quality stewardship to donors, recognising the impact of their support and enabling them to become advocates and champions for Macmillan.


About you

  • Excellent written communication, with the ability to navigate complex information and develop proposals that articulate a clear vision and compelling narrative to inspire donors.
  • Excellent verbal communication, networking, and relationshipbuilding skills with experience of building trusted, authentic relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, cultivate, secure, and steward highvalue philanthropic gifts.
  • Experience of using databases, ideally with experience of using Raiser's Edge.
