Description

The post holder will work as part of a small and busy Occupational Health & Well being team to deliver a range of occupational health advice and services to staff and external customers under contract.

Taking into account changing patterns of employment, changing economy and changing attitudes towards health.


Reporting into the Team Leader, Occupational Health & Well being the post holder will have demonstrable experience of delivering the full provision of Occupational Health and Well being.


The post holder will have an understanding and experience of the value of evidence-based decision making and will be able to support the planning of initiatives and services to support employees.

Being creative with excellent organisational, communication and delivery skills are key to achieving this.

The jobholder will be responsible for supporting the provision of occupational health services to support the following goals:

  • Avoid work related illness;
  • Help people who are ill to return to work and:
  • To support recruitment and employment processes
  • To support employers obligations under legislation
Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse (1st level registration).
  • Recognised Post Registration Specialist Occupational Health Qualification at BSc level.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development, or equivalent experience.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex situations requiring analysis and consideration for a range of outcomes.
  • Extensive experience of working in occupational health.
  • Experience of operating in a confidential and sensitive client facing role
  • Experience of working with Occupational Health/Medical Systems
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and develop good working relationships.
  • Have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Working 3 days per week, 22.5 hours, Monday - Wednesday


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 22.5 per week


Salary:
£45.00-£57.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
