Morgan McKinley is looking for an Accounts & Office Assistant for a lovely company based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

The Accounts Assistant will be assisting with Finance team with accounting support such as; invoicing, reconciliations, accounts administration, supplier payments etc but also assist with the running of the offices and facilities.


Salary:
£26-£27K


Location:
Hybrid working - 3 days office based


Hours:
Monday to Friday


Accounts & Office Assistant duties:


  • Timely payment of invoices from the different company offices
  • Handling and resolving any invoice queries
  • Raising of supplier and customer invoices
  • Bank and cash reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
  • Allocation and reconciliation of Customer Receipts and processing refunds
  • Credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee the facilities of the two offices with their parking space allocation, recycling, waste disposal etc
  • Manage Utilities and review consumption
  • Oversee sending IT equipment to Sales Homeworkers and organising returns and update inventory of all PC's and IT equipment

Skills and experience:


  • Proven Accounts Assistant / Finance support experience as well and office support
  • Experience of multicurrency transactions
  • Must be highly organised and excellent attention to detail
