SEND Service Manager - London

£400 - £450 per day

Hybrid Working

6-month assignment with a view to extension.


Spencer Clarke Group have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Service Manager to take up an interim contract with a local authority in Northeast London.


As part of your role you will manage, lead and drive performance within the SEND Team and offer strategic leadership to maximise outcomes in relation to cost.


As this is a hybrid working role, you will be expected to be on site for a minimum of 2 days per week.

We are looking to speak with SEND professionals who have in depth knowledge of SEN Policy, implementation and legislation.


Duties will include:

  • Plan and ensure service delivery within a complex / diverse service area.
  • Manage responses to complex professional or politically sensitive issues.
  • Develops service plans to meet strategic business goals.
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff to create and maintain a highly competent and participative workforce.
  • Implement an annual Service Plan with clear milestones and delivery targets.
  • Manage budgets for area of responsibility.
